The Shrader-Weaver Nature Preserve, Indiana.
This land, and the early 19th century homestead on it, was farmed by members of my family from around 1800 until the early 1970's. It is now an Indiana Nature Preserve and a National Natural Landmark.
A large portion of the 100 plus acre Shrader-Weaver Nature Preserve, contains land in Hoosier farm country that has never been plowed and is home to several Burr Oak, Walnut and Tulip Poplars that are over two-hundred years old.
I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I enjoy photographing this very special place.
